Delivery Information

Please note, deliveries can be up to 7 working days to the Republic of Ireland, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Inverness, Aberdeen and Dumfries & Galloway.

Any additional instructions to the carrier must be agreed by Direct Flooring Centre Ltd.

Please note, we are unable to guarantee next working day delivery for any order.

  • Our carriers deliver Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm.
  • Any pallet deliverys will require booking in before dispatch.
  • For special delivery service (Saturday delivery, AM delivery, etc. ) please cotact us on 01622 535 162
  • No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
 

All types of Flooring Delivery

We try to keep information on stock availability up to date, but it's possible that sometimes an item might become unavailable between updates. If this happens, we'll try to get more stock and keep you informed.

We recommend that you call and check current stock before placing an order.

Delivery for most types of flooring (solid, engineered, laminate) takes usually 2-3 days (to some areas delivery time may be longer).

  • Delivery for bespoke/made-to-order 'special' items can be up to 8 weeks but lead time will be confirmed at the time of ordering. However, please note due to powers out of our control, this cannot be guaranteed.
  • Delivery times vary between 8am and 6pm (working days)
  • Due to its size the flooring is delivered by pallet system or dedicated van delivery - always as a curbside drop only!
 

Special Delivery

Saturday delivery is available, however this is an extra service provided and the cost would need to be arranged beforehand.

If delivery is required to offshore countries outside of the UK region, this can be arranged but would need to be discussed with ourselves beforehand. This is in order to arrange shipping and the cost of shipping which can vary between regions.

Collection at our warehouse

  • Collection is available from Monday to Friday (Appointment Only).
  • Before you can pick up your items please call us for stock confirmation to avoid dissapointment.
  • Your payment must be cleared before collection.
  • Our main warehouse is based in The Coachworks, Old Mill Lane, Aylesford ME20 7DT. Junction 6 of the M20 Motorway.
 

Delivery Considerations

At Direct Flooring Centre we have partnered with reliable delivery partners to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. Therefore it is important to check the packaging for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. If you are unfortunate enough to receive damaged goods or there are missing items, please make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. We also strongly suggest that you contact us directly as soon as possible to make sure we are aware of the problem.

All delivery services could be made on a lorry or a van so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, it is within a "Red route" or there are time zone restrictions for example, please inform us at the time of order to discuss alternative delivery options. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for the failed delivery and the goods being returned. The return delivery charge for failed deliveries is a £60.00 minimum.

Where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us.

We cannot be responsible for any consequential losses, therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received and checked.

No deliveries can be made on Bank Holidays.

Refunds

If we receive a cancellation request from you and your Products have not been dispatched, we will refund you the full invoice amount within 30 working days of your cancellation request.

If we receive a cancellation request from you and your Products have been dispatched but not delivered , we will refund you the full invoice amount in full less any direct expenses we may have incurred in fulfilling the original agreement.

If we receive a cancellation request from you and you have taken delivery of your Products, you must return the Products to us at your own expense.Once these Products are returned and inspected in our warehouse, you will then be refunded the total amount paid for the Products. The delivery charges related to the despatch of the Products to you can not be refunded. The refund will be processed as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days from receipt back at our warehouse.

We reserve the right to charge up to 30% restocking charge for the returned Product , which includes all the direct expense involved (for example- free delivery or packing charges). Deliveries are calculated by weight and delivery postal code.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of discrete parts of single Products contained within an order. If you wish to return any Products you must take reasonable care of them whilst in your possession.

If you wish to return a Product to us for any other reason (for instance, because you consider the Product is defective), we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of our decision and of any applicable refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process any refund due to you within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund and, in any event, within 30 days of that confirmation email. In such event, we will refund the price of a defective Product in full, including any applicable delivery charges and any reasonable costs that you incur in returning the item to us. If you wish to return any Products you must ensure that they are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you have opened any boxes to examine the Product we recommend that you take care with the packaging and try not to damage it, as it is specifically designed for the Product. If you fail to take care of the Products before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge accordingly. You must return the goods to the branch from which they were delivered or request us to collect the goods, at your cost. This term shall not apply to any goods specially obtained or made for you or which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Any refund will only include standard delivery charges (where relevant).
 

Please note all returns must be made within 14 days from the delivery of the goods.

Returns cannot be accepted on 'special order' (custom-made products nor any materials that been used or altered in any way.
